To great extent, we create our fate every single day, and majority of the problem we suffer are directly traceable to our own lack of purpose; our purpose choose how we respond to situations.
Remember, this question we often ask ourselves drives the meaning we create and the attitude we have about everything.
The truth about live is that our purpose is what choose our attitude, our attitude is what moves us forward. And doing so will help us change things from the inside out, and ultimately gives meaning to our life.
Understanding the power of purpose will support us to choose a positive attitude.
UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF PURPOSE
There are two kinds of people:
Thomas Carlye – “The man without a purpose is like a ship
without a rudder – a waif, a nothing, a no man.”
The truth about life is everyone’s life is driven by
something.
Common 5 wrong driven force for purpose:
1) People are driven by revenge/hurt – most people allow their
entire lives running from guilt and shame. Hurt–driven people
are unconsciously punished by past-trauma.
2) A person driven by anger/resentment – your past is past,
learn from the lesson and let it go – nothing changes the past
but you can always change how you unfold to present situation.
3) People are driven by fear – remember fear allow you to miss
great opportunities in life due to fear of unrealistic
expectation, growing up in a high-control environment. Fear is a
self – imposed prison.
4) People are driven by misconception – desires to acquire more
material things because the purpose of their life. It is a
delusion that satisfaction is in material things. The truth is
possessions only provide temporary happiness because there will
always be new items, better versions coming up. Self worth and
net worth are not the same. Your value in life is not determined
by your valuables. No wonder, God says that the most valuable
things in life are not things. We should set our mind on things
above. The truth about money and its luxury is that it exposes
you.
5) People driven by life – life controlled, guided and focused
by God’s purposes. Nothing matter than pleasing God not success,
wealth, fame or pleasure.
NOTE!!! – Without a God-given purpose, life is motion without meaning, activity without direction, and events without reason. Without a God-given purpose, life is trivial, petty and pointless.
